Franciacorta is Italy’s most refined expression of sparkling wine, and Contadi Castaldi is one of its standout producers. Made in Lombardy, just south of Lake Iseo, this DOCG-classified sparkling wine is crafted using the Metodo Tradizionale (traditional method), the same process used in Champagne.
In the glass, this Franciacorta shows beautifully balanced aromas of ripe orchard fruit, savoury herbs and crusty bread. The palate is crisp and elegant, with green apple flavours leading into notes of dried lemon peel, roasted nuts and a subtle hint of vanilla. The finish is creamy, refined and persistent—serious sparkle with real depth.
