A lovely, classic Tuscan Chianti that is all about freshness, elegance and easy enjoyment. I Sodi del Paretaio is one of Badia di Morrona's long-established wines and has been part of the Gaslini Alberti family's contribution to the Chianti tradition for generations. The estate itself is a substantial Tuscan property in the heart of the Terre di Pisa, with around 600 hectares of land and 110 hectares of vineyards.

FGA stands for Filippo Gaslini Alberti, the name given to this particular selection from the estate. It is made from a selection of the estate's best Sangiovese, blended with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Unlike the Riserva, this wine is designed to be enjoyed for its freshness and versatility rather than extended ageing. It spends 12 months in concrete tanks, allowing the fruit and natural character of the wine to remain at the forefront.

In the glass, it is fragrant and elegant, with fresh fruit and floral aromas. The palate is beautifully balanced, with a lovely combination of juicy fruit, freshness and silky, mature tannins. It has enough structure to work beautifully with food, while remaining approachable and easy to enjoy.
