A classically expressive red from one of Piemonte’s most tsustainable estates, "Zio Nando" is both approachable and refined. 

Crafted from vines planted in 1944 and lovingly named after the founder’s uncle, this wine speaks of history and terroir. The vineyard’s west-facing, sandy-calcareous soils—with their sub-alkaline, magnesium-rich profile—deliver both intensity and elegance. Native yeast fermentation followed by up to a year in large Slavonian, Hungarian, and Swiss oak barrels, with natural cork closure, preserve the wine’s purity and structure.

Producer: Perched atop Lirano Hill between Barolo’s storied terrains of Serralunga d’Alba and Sinio, the Rivetto estate is a compelling model of biodiversity and terroir stewardship.
