Product Info
A deep garnet red with violet edges, this Susumaniello from Puglia's Salento district opens with vivid notes of ripe red fruit backed by a hint of spice. The palate is generous and full-bodied, with lasting flavour and a smooth finish that lingers.
The grapes are picked by hand in late September and fermented in stainless steel before the wine rests in bottle for three months prior to release, preserving its fresh, fruit-forward character.
Tasting notes: Dark red in colour with purple hues; the bouquet is intensely fruity, while the palate is bold and well-structured with excellent length.
Food pairing: A natural match for pasta with meat ragù, chargrilled meats, and matured cheeses.
